I hate doing math and before I purchased the TurboTax Basic Software, I never thought I would really be able to do my own taxes. TurboTax Software I can tell you - made it SO EASY! that I was fully surprised at the simplicity. It did all of the math for me, and asked all the right questions so I that I did not have to spend hours answering questions that didn't apply to me. It also made the questions that did apply to me simple to understand so I didn't have to deal with the often confusing cryptic language of legal forms.

It took me just over an hour to complete my tax return. My girl friend did not believe that it could be this easy, and was worried that I would get in trouble with the IRS. So, she had me do her taxes on TurboTax, and then had her overpriced tax accountant do them. Fact is that the accountant missed a couple deductions since he's not programmed in with every possible deduction and credit like TurboTax is, and he billed her for several hours of work! Not cheep at greedy accountant rates. If TurboTax can make doing my taxes that easy for me, then it should be incredibly easy for anyone else.

Intuit Turbo Tax Basic is just a great choice for the simple filing purpose, for  the simple household.
